love’s all things art. She has a passion for teaching art and believes art is a great way to being people together. She loves working with kids of all ages. She feels there is no limit when it comes to art. She is skilled in all elements of art, but painting is her favorite next to pencil drawing and shading.

has studied with many Native American artists. She specializes in making traditional jewelry. She appreciates bringing modern design to conventional styles and loves inspiring personal views while respecting traditional methods. She hopes to expand ideas and make sure traditions continue in new generations. Dona spends her free time volunteering at schools by helping young artists blossom. She currently assists art classes at JMA.

has been drawing since a young age. Jorden feels drawing gives her a sense of peace and balance. Drawing is the freedom to express yourself without the fear of judgment. Jorden would love to share her knowledge by instructing young minds to express themselves through creativity and passion.

Get ready for fall! Students will be learning techniques on how to perfect the weaving process by wire weaving a cabochon into a cute pumpkin pendant for a necklace. A cabochon is a gemstone that has been shaped and polished, rather than faceted.

fall oil pastel painting

In this lesson, students will learn how to create paintings with oil pastels. Oil pastels are pigment, wax, and oil mixed together - they are like big, soft crayons that emulate oil paint. Students will learn various techniques including optical blending and layering. We will be using all the beautiful autumn colors to create our fall painting. This is such a gorgeous time of year! The paintings we can create are endless.

Students will learn the basic hands-on skills of working with leather, including tooling and staining. Each student has the choice to make a leather keychain or a bookmark. Students are encouraged to bring their creative ideas and enjoy their time learning and practicing the techniques of leather tooling!

This class is for students and a family member to collaborate and paint pumpkins. Students will be working with acrylic paint to get the best out of our paintings. Families will learn techniques and brush strokes on how to paint on such objects. This will be a fun family experience to get in the spirit of Halloween.
